Digital Learning Summit to focus on hybrid learning

The Digital Learning Summit comes during a period of intense digital transformation for many higher education institutions as hybrid learning hits the mainstream. Speakers from across the education technology landscape will explore the implications of this seismic shift.

One highlight is set to be Zoom CIO Ted Brodheim who will give an inside view of the company’s success and offer insights into its product roadmap as it positions itself at the heart of the learning ecosystem. Other speakers include Maud Pols, Education Learning Specialist from Microsoft and who also worked at the University of Amsterdam.

“At the Digital Learning Summit, we aim to inspire and inform by sharing success stories based on technologies readily available to learning providers covering all types of education,” explained Conference Chair and Program Director at IMS Global Learning, Gill Ferrell. “Learning providers are realising that the shift to hybrid can have long-term benefits. We will look at how universities are reflecting the change in their campus developments and we will hear how major suppliers are preparing for a new type of digital learning ecosystem. We will also look at how AR, MR and XR are transforming our physical surroundings into a digital canvas offering rich and authentic learning experiences.”
