Construite en 2017 par les architectes Chabanne + Partenaires à Cergy- Pontoise, à quelques kilomètres au nord de Paris, la patinoire d’Aren’Ice impressionne par son architecture spectaculaire et moderne modelée comme un iceberg et par son éclairage de pointe fourni par Siteco et Osram.

Sur près de 15 000 m², l’Aren’Ice comprend une patinoire principale aux normes internationales (30 m x 60 m) avec tribunes pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 4 500 spectateurs en configuration spectacle et 3 000 pour les matchs de hockey, et une patinoire secondaire, également aux normes internationales avec 320 places en tribunes. Une contribution essentielle à la compétitivité internationale de l’Aren’Ice est apportée par l’éclairage réalisé avec les luminaires novateurs Siteco FL20 commandés avec DALI Pro. L’Aren’Ice, qui abrite également le siège de la Fédération française de hockey sur glace, est principalement conçue pour les sports de glace, tels que le hockey et le patinage artistique, mais peut également être utilisée pour d’autres sports d’intérieur tels que le handball, le volley-ball, le basketball ou le tennis, voire des spectacles ou des manifestations culturelles.

Des projecteurs Siteco FL20 Plus LED avec commande DALI
Les experts en éclairage sportif d’Osram Lighting Solutions ont opté pour les projecteurs Siteco FL20 LED de la version « Plus », qui peuvent être commandés en DALI. Les 164 luminaires LED FL 20 installés ainsi que les systèmes de commande DALI d’Osram répondent aux normes internationales les plus élevées en matière d’éclairage professionnel de compétition sportive et de compatibilité TVHD (télévision haute définition). Les luminaires FL20 LED Plus combinés au système DALI Pro permettent la programmation et l’utilisation de plusieurs scénarios d’éclairage dans l’Aren’Ice. Ainsi, le niveau d’éclairage peut être facilement et rapidement adapté à différentes activités, surtout pour économiser de l’énergie, mais aussi pour répondre aux normes d’éclairage de diverses associations sportives internationales. La solution LED Osram permet de réaliser quatre ambiances lumineuses : compétition de haut niveau, compétition régionale de hockey sur glace, entraînement et divertissement, et temps de nettoyage, avec des éclairements moyens de 1 000 lux, 600 lux, 300 lux et 150 lux. Cette solution d’éclairage s’inscrit dans une démarche de développement durable. La combinaison de ce luminaire éco-énergétique avec DALI Pro permet de réduire la consommation d’énergie ainsi que les opérations de maintenance grâce à la longue durée de vie du luminaire FL20 LED (jusqu’à 100 000 heures).

Built in 2017 in Cergy-Pontoise, a few kilometers north from Paris by the architects Chabanne + Partenaires, the Aren’Ice ice rink impresses with its spectacular modern architecture modelled after an iceberg and its advanced lighting provided by Siteco and Osram.

The Aren’Ice covers an area of nearly 15,000 m² and includes a main ice rink of international standard (30 m x 60 m) with grandstands for up to 4,500 spectators when used for shows and 3,000 for ice hockey matches and a secondary ice rink, also of international size with 320 seats in the grandstands. Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and technology, it is possible to host various ice as well as other indoor sporting events at the highest international level (in the hall). An essential contribution to the Aren’Ice’s international competitiveness is the first-class illumination of the ice rink with innovative DALI-manageable Siteco FL 20 Plus LED luminaires. The Aren’Ice, which also houses the French Ice Hockey Federation headquarters, was primarily designed for ice sports such as ice hockey and figure skating but can also be used for other indoor sports such as handball, volleyball, basketball or tennis (after conversion of the ice) or any kind of cultural show.

Siteco FL20 Plus – flexible, controllable, efficient and flicker-free
The sports lighting experts from Osram Lighting Solutions opted for the “Plus” version of Siteco FL20 LED floodlights, which can be controlled via DALI. The 164 FL20 LED luminaires in the system with the corresponding DALI control units from Osram easily meet the highest international standards for lighting in professional sporting competitions and is perfectly compatible with HDTV. The FL20 LED Plus luminaires combined with DALI Pro allow the programming and use of different lighting scenarios in the Aren’Ice. Thus, the lighting level can quickly and easily be adapted to a variety of activities. It was chosen above all to save energy, but also to match the lighting standards of various international sporting associations. With the Osram LED solution, four light scenes can be realized: High Level Competitions, Regional Ice Hockey Competitions, Training and Entertainment, and Cleaning Time – with an average illuminance of 1000 lux, 600 lux, 300 lux and 150 lux. This lighting solution is sustainable. The combination of these energy efficient luminaires with the DALI Pro control system allows a reduction of the energy consumption. Moreover, product maintenance is limited thanks to the long lifespan of up to 100 000 hours of the FL20 LED luminaire.
